RS PURA, Mar 5: Government Degree College R.S. Pura witnessed a spirited showcase of civic engagement as it rallied behind the 'Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye' campaign, advocating for democratic participation among its student body. In a collaborative effort orchestrated by the Viksit Bharat Club, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), National Service Scheme (NSS), and National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit, the college organized a thought-provoking event aimed at sensitizing students, particularly first-time voters, to the significance of their electoral rights.
Dr. Rakesh Choudhary, Head of the Department of Political Science, took center stage as he delivered an extension lecture underlining the importance of informed decision-making and active participation in the electoral process.
