UDHAMPUR, Mar 5: NCC and NSS Units of GDC Udhampur, under the guidance of the esteemed Principal Prof. (Dr) Romesh Kumar Gupta, organized a comprehensive Three-Day Pulse Polio Awareness Programme from March 1st to March 3rd, 2024. The initiative aimed to underscore the significance of Pulse Polio Immunization in ensuring the well-being of children. On the inaugural day, March 1st, NCC Cadets showcased their creativity through a poster-making competition, spreading awareness about the importance of Pulse Polio Immunization. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 boys and 25 girls.
Continuing the momentum, on March 2nd, all NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers joined forces, echoing various slogans highlighting the imperative of the Pulse Polio Abhiyan.
The culminating day, March 3rd, witnessed a practical demonstration of dedication as 15 Cadets alongside 5 NSS Volunteers actively participated in assisting the nursing staff at District Hospital Udhampur during the immunization process.
