| Two more bovine smuggling attempt foiled, Udhampur Police | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 8: Udhampur Police rescued 30 Bovines and seized 02 vehicles used for bovine smuggling. Team of Police Post Tikri foiled one more bovine smuggling bid in which 11 bovines were rescued and vehicle bearing registration number JK02AN 8175 seized from Tikri nakapoint. Accused driver namely Mohd. Aslam S/O Mohd. Hanief R/O Anantnag got arrested. In this regard, A case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal.
Another bovine smuggling attempt foiled in which police team of Police Station Rehambal rescued 19 bovines from one vehicle bearing registration number JK14J 9177 at naka point Phalata. The driver of the vehicle disclosed his identity as Mohd. Yaqoob S/O Mohd. Sharief R/O Railway Colony, Udhampur who got arrested on spot. All the bovines were rescued and vehicle seized. In this connection, another case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rehambal and further investigation of both the cases are underway. |
