SRINAGAR, Mar 8: Chairman of DPAP Ghulam Nabi Azad today addressed a public meeting in Abhama, Rajpora Pulwama. He highlighted his party's pivotal role in leading the ground-level fight against land eviction orders, which compelled the government to halt the bulldozers. Azad announced his party's commitment to reinstating the Roshni Scheme and providing free electricity for the underprivileged in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). The Roshni Scheme, aimed at providing legal ownership rights to occupants of state land, had previously empowered numerous families by granting them ownership of land they had occupied for years.
