| Jammu Police crack down on Two-wheelers with modified silencers, Traffic violations | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 12: In a concerted effort to tackle the menace of two-wheelers with modified silencers and other traffic violations, the Bus Stand Police in City Zone North, under the direct supervision of SP City North Jammu, Sh. Shivam Sidharth-IPS, and SDPO City North Jammu, Sh. Devinder Singh Bandral-JKPS, executed a targeted operation. Led by SHO Bus Stand Inspector Vikas Dogra, a specialized team conducted a rigorous drive to clamp down on offenders.
During the operation, 02 bullets, 05 scooters, and 05 motorcycles were seized under various motor vehicle acts, and numerous violators were issued challans. The crackdown specifically targeted individuals using modified silencers, which not only disrupt the peace for other commuters but also pose serious health hazards, particularly for seniors citizens and those with heart-related issues.
Inspector Vikas Dogra emphasized the importance of continuing such drives to maintain road safety and curb traffic violations effectively. He further underscored the Jammu Police’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of all citizens and urged the public’s cooperation in upholding traffic regulations.
The Jammu Police reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining law and order on the roads of the Jammu District and pledged to persist in their efforts to enforce traffic rules and regulations for the safety and security of all residents. |
