| Police held drug peddler at Bhaderwah with narcotics | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12: Continuing it war against the drug peddlers Doda Police has apprehended one drug peddler in Bhaderwah area with Narcotics from his possession.
Giving details Police said that a patrolling party of P/S Bhadarwah while conducting checking of vehicles at Domail Bhaderwah observed one person in suspicious movement. Police Party apprehended him and during his search charas like substance was recovered from his possession which he had concealed in a polythene container. During questioning, he disclosed his name as Prithvi Raj S/o Kunj Lal R/o Noori Hanga tehsil Bhaderwah.
Upon this this, a case FIR No. 37/2024 under relevant provisions of NDPS Act was registered in Police station Bhadarwah and investigation of the case started. Doda Police has launched special drive against the drug peddlers and appeals the general public to cooperate with Police and provide inputs/information if any drug peddling is noticed in their neighbourhood.name of the informer would be kept secret. |
