Jammu police conducts police-public meeting in Miran Sahib | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 12: In order to bridge the gap between Police & Public, SP Headquarters Jammu Irshad H.RatherJKPS conducted a Police Community Partnership Group meeting (PCPG) in Community Hall, Miran Sahib. The officers who were present on the occasion, were SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna-JKPS, SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Bopinder Singh along with incharge Border Police Post Kullian, and officials of Police Station StatMiran Sahib. The meeting was attended by number of Ex-Sarpanchs, Panchs Lamberdars, Chowkidars and respectable citizens of the area. The participants raised various issues of public importance in the meet for their immediate redressal. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, the chairing officers assured that the genuine issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for their immediate redressal besides issues related to Police will be resolved in shortest possible time. The participants were stressed to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.Participants appreciate the role of police in curbing drug menace in the area. They were also, apprised regarding the do's and don'ts with regard to the parliamentary elections, which are going to be held. The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling the social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in conducting community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely. |
