CSU organizes Saral Manak Sanskrit Workshop at Shrimata Vaishno Devi Gurukul | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 16: A one-day Saral Standard Sanskrit Workshop was organized under the joint aegis of Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, Jammu; Shrimata Vaishno Devi Gurukul, Katra; and Indian Language Committee, Ministry of Education. Speaking as the keynote speaker on this occasion, Dr. Pushpendra Joshi, Assistant Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala, said that Sanskrit is the only language in the world which has an unmatched and unbroken tradition of classical sophistication, antiquity and continuity. Chief guest Dr. Mithlesh Mishra said that the broad form of our culture is visible in Sanskrit only. Simplification of Sanskrit standards etc. is extremely necessary to make the culture reach the masses that is ideal for the world . One who does not have the knowledge of Sanskrit cannot attain the best and ideal state of knowledge. As long as there is human civilization on earth, Sanskrit will remain alive. Sanskrit is a scientific and simple language. In his presidential address, Campus Director Prof. Shreedhar Mishra said that Sanskrit is a very simple and easy language. Through small efforts, the young generation has to be connected with Sanskrit language in practice. Principal of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul, Dr. Dhananjay Mishra, speaking as a special guest, said that at present time, there is a need for simplification and development of Sanskrit to make it the language of the common people. Sanskrit is the basis of children's internal development for which a lot of work is being done. The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. In the next episode of the program, the guests on the stage were welcomed with flower bunches and mementos. Dr. Vicky Sharma welcomed the guests. Workshop coordinator Dr. Rajkumar Mishra, while introducing the topic, said that in the New Education Policy 2020, teaching will be done through simple standard Sanskrit language. The Indian knowledge tradition is rooted in Sanskrit.
