| Samba police seizes 5 vehicles for illegal mining | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Mar 17: Intensifying its drive against illegal mining in the district, Samba Police has seized five vehicles across the districts which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material. A Police team of Police Station Ghagwal headed by SHO Police Station Ghagwal while performing vehicle checking duty at Naka Tapyal has seized two dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02CS-4466 and JK21J-9751 for illegal mining/transportation of construction material in the area. Similarly, a Police party of Police Post Mansar headed by Incharge Police Post Mansar while on vehicle checking duty at Naka Mansar has seized one dumper bearing regd. No. JK21H-92 22 for illegal mining/transportationin the area.
Likewise, Police teams headed by SHO Police Station Ramgarh and SHO Police Station Vijaypur while on patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas have seized dumper bearing regd. No. JK08M-9293 and tractor trolley bearing regd. No. JK21F-8345 respectively for illegal mining/transportation in the area. The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action. |
