Theft case solved within 4 hours by Jammu Police

Jammu, Mar 17: Today a written complaint was received from PHE department through JE Nagrota Sh. Sunil Verma in PS Nagrota at around 1500 Hrs regarding theft of multistrand cable of size 50mm around 96 m +35 m from filtration plant nagrota which cost around 1.50 lac by some miscreants during intervening night of 16/17 March 2024. On this a case FIR no 92/2024 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS. Acting swiftly a team was constituted and investigation was started.
Within 4 Hrs accused persons namely Krishna Kumar S/O Ashok Kumar R/O Old camp Nagrota 2) Vishal Kumar S/O Prem Nath R/O CAMP nagrota were arrested and stolen property recovered from them.
