Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 22: In a significant breakthrough, the Government Railway Police (GRP) in Jammu achieved a notable success in its ongoing campaign against wanted criminals and absconders. After a relentless pursuit spanning 17 years, the GRP Jammu successfully apprehended an absconder identified as Jaspreet Singh, also known as Tina, son of Kulwant Singh. He hails from House No. 48, Lane No. 12, Nanak Nagar, Jammu. Jaspreet Singh was wanted in connection with a case registered under FIR No. 16/2007, pertaining to Sections 307/201/34 of the RPC and 4/27 of the Arms Act, at the Police Station GRP Jammu. Following his arrest, the absconder was promptly produced before the court of law. Currently, he is being held at the District Jail in Jammu. This successful operation underscores the relentless efforts and dedication of the GRP Jammu in ensuring the apprehension of wanted criminals and absconders, thereby upholding the rule of law and enhancing public safety and security. |
