Legal issues involved in regularization of adhoc employees

JAMMU, FEB 28: Minister for Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. A. R. Rather, replying to the issue raised by MY Tarigami regarding regularization of adhocees and contractuals informed the House during Zero Hour that the issue will be looked into as there were some legal formalities involved in the matter.
The Finance Minister assured the House that matters of immediate concern raised by the Members would be actively considered by the government.
During Zero Hour in the House today various Members from both Treasury and opposition benches raised issues of public concern and demanded appropriate action on the part of the government.
Rafi Ahmad Mir raised the issue of defunct water supply schemes in Pahalgam Constituency, whileas Ms Sakina Ittoo demanded speedy disposal of SRO-43 cases.
Qamer Ali Akhoon demanded additional flights for airlifting of stranded passengers of Kargil and Leh from Srinagar to their destinations, whileas Dr. Manohar Lal demanded enhancement in the monthly wages of ITI trained candidates engaged in PHE Department and Rehbar-e-Ziarat.
Ch. Zulfikar Ali sought the attention of the Government towards the release of funds under Tribal Sub-Plan and said that this has affected the studies of the students being benefited under the scheme. Mr. Kafil-ur-Rehman demanded release of payment in favour of the contractors who have completed various works under PHE & Irrigation Departments.
GM Saroori demanded posting of Allopathic, Dental and ISM doctors selected by the Public Service Commission and their regularization of those working on adhoc basis for various years. Mr. Jagdish Sapolia demanded posting of Munsifs in three Munsif Courts in his constituency.
Sartaj Madni demanded identification and requisition of land for construction of Degree College at Kilam
Prof. Chaman Lal demanded adequate stock of food-grains and other essentials for the consumers and reopening of closed CA&PD retail outlets.

Javed Ahmad Dar demanded creation of basic infrastructure and other facilities at fruit mandi Sopore. Mr. Charanjit Singh demanded vocation of security forces from Mahatma Gandhi Hospital at Kathua
Abdul Rashid Sheikh demanded posting of Executive Officers in those Municipal Committee which are without executive officers. Mr. Harshdev Singh demanded enhancement in the wages of contractuals and their regularization
Ghulam Hassan Mir demanded compensation to the next of the kins of the person who was electrocuted due to short circuit at Hardshuroo, Tangmarg. He also demanded compensation in favour of those house owners whose houses also got damaged due to the short circuit.
Nazir Ahmad Gurezi alleged that is ignored by official media while recording the proceedings of the House, while Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Jan demanded release of wages in favour of daily wagers. Syed Bashir Ahmad urged for slashing down the prices of spray oils for orchards in view of recent cut in the price of diesel and petrol.
Yashpal Kundal demanded for starting work on Degree College, Samba and Mr. Irfan Shah sought revival of sick industrial units, while as Mr. P. Namgyal urged for filling up of the vacant posts in Education Department in Leh and Aga Rouhalla demanded repairs of Budgam-Humhama road, which connects Srinagar with Budgam district.
Nizam-ud-Din Bhat demanded for restoration of work on Kishan Ganga Hydro Power Project and payment of compensation to the people whose land has been acquired for the project.
Mir Saifullah sought attention of the Government towards dilapidated condition of Sopore-Kupwara road and urged for its immediate repairs.
Bimla Luthra demanded for early release of constituency development funds and Mr. Kishan Lal demanded upgradation of inner roads of Chenani constituency.
Sukhnandan, Mr. Baldev Raj, Mr. Bharat Bhusan, Mr. Abdul Haq, Mr. Nisar Ahmad and Peerzada Mansoor also raised issues of public interests of their constituencies during zero hour in Legislative Assembly.
