Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 27: In a proactive initiative aimed at addressing the concerns and issues of employers and employees, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Rizwan Uddin spearheaded an awareness and outreach program titled "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0" at Government Degree College for Women in Kathua, Jammu. This program, organized in collaboration with the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Jammu Office, aimed to educate stakeholders about various schemes and initiatives of EPFO and provide solutions to their queries and grievances. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by Dr. Savi Behl, Principal of Government Degree College for Women, Kathua, who applauded the efforts of EPFO Jammu under the leadership of Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Rizwan Uddin for their commitment to serving registered employees and conducting informative seminars. During his address, Rizwan Uddin shed light on the initiatives undertaken by EPFO under "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0," including E-Nomination, UAN Activation, KYC Updation, and online ECR filling. He also elaborated on the benefits of schemes such as the Employees Provident Funds Scheme, Employees' Pension Scheme, and Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme. The interactive session saw stakeholders raising various issues related to EPFO, to which Rizwan Uddin provided immediate solutions and directives to resolve them promptly. Notable instances include the resolution of Form 13 transfer claim and rectification of contribution deposition errors by employers. The program also featured joint collaboration with the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), with Sheena Sharma, SSO, ESIC, addressing the audience alongside Rizwan Uddin, emphasizing the importance of social security schemes. Dignitaries present at the event included Romika Bassin, Nodal Officer, Government Degree College for Women, Kathua, Praveen Tyagi, DGM, Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua, and Satpal Mansotra, General Secretary, J&K Private School Association.
