Kavinder Gupta accuses opposition of protecting dynasty politics, corruption at Loktantra Bachao Rally | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: In a scathing critique during the "Loktantra Bachao" rally organized by the INDIA Bloc in response to the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta lambasted the opposition, accusing them of prioritizing dynasty politics and corruption over democratic values. Gupta highlighted what he perceived as the opposition's reliance on family-centric politics, aimed at perpetuating communal, regional, linguistic, and caste divides to further their own interests. He stressed the Bharatiya Janata Party's commitment to transparency, good governance, and equal opportunities for all, contrasting it with what he described as the self-serving agenda of the opposition. Regarding the coalition between the National Conference and PDP, Gupta dismissed it as a marriage of convenience rather than shared principles, labeling it as "Majboori Ka Ghatbandhan" (an alliance of necessity). He portrayed the two parties as representing conflicting ideologies, with one advocating for self-rule and the other for autonomy. Gupta urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir not to be swayed by the temporary alliances of regional parties, asserting that the BJP offers a superior alternative with its focus on nationalism, development, and inclusive governance. Additionally, Gupta met with a delegation to address their concerns promptly, promising to engage with the relevant authorities. He emphasized the importance of supporting a party aligned with national interests in the upcoming electoral process. Amidst the political fervor, Gupta's remarks underscored the ongoing ideological clash within Indian politics, with each side vying for supremacy in the pursuit of their vision for the nation's future. |
