JAMMU, Apr 6: In a recent operation, during the intervening night, a Police Party from PP Sidhra set up a special Naka at Batra Sidhra. Their vigilance paid off when they intercepted a Scorpio bearing registration No. JK02AA-6000. The vehicle, driven by an unknown individual, was found to be loaded with four bovine animals.
However, upon being intercepted, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving the vehicle and the bovine animals behind. The Police Party swiftly seized both the vehicle and the animals.
This incident underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat illegal activities such as cattle smuggling. The Police remain vigilant in their duty to uphold the law and ensure the safety and security of the community.
