| Crackdown on illegal mining: 2 vehicles seized | | | Early Times Report
REASI, Apr 6: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Reasi Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In random checking, Police teams of Reasi Police inspected at different locations and seized 02 Vehicles engaged in illegal mining.
In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations team of Police Station Reasi seized one tipper bearing registration number JK14E-8052 (Tipper) involved in transportation of illegal mining material.
In a separate incident, team of Police Station Chassana laid surprise naka on Chassana-Sungri road and seized one tipper bearing registration number JK02CX-6435 involved in transportation of illegal mining material.
After Seizure of these Vehicles Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action.
While giving the details SSP Reasi conveyed that Reasi Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area. |
