Jammu, Apr 11: General Manager (R) Sitanshu Kumar Das, FCI (RO, J&K), Assistant General Manager (QC), Santosh Kumar, and concerned Mandi Quality Inspectors visited eight mandies of Revenue District Jammu (Pakistan Border) on dated 11.04.2024 (Gurha Manhasan, Pargwal, Jourian, Khour Mattu, Channu Chak, Gajansoo Marh, Badrore, Marh) and had interaction with local farmers as well as MLCs with a request to sell their wheat produce to FCI at MSP (Rs. 2275/qtl. for FAQ). The General Manager (Region) has assured to pay the cost of wheat to the farmers within 48 hrs through online mode in their account without fail. During interaction with farmers, the GM, FCI, intimated all concerned that FCI is ready to procure wheat at MSP to the maximum extent in J&K without having any kind of limitation for which the FCI, J&K, is ready to handle the assigned obligations in RMS 2024-2025. |
