| Crackdown on illegal mining; vehicle seized | | | Early Times Report
REASI, Apr 11: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Reasi Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources. In random checking, Police teams of Reasi Police inspected at different locations and seized Vehicle engaged in illegal mining. In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations team of Police Station Pouni seized dumper bearing registration number JK11D-4789 and PP Bhambla seize a dumper bearing reg no. JK02CB - 0443 involved in transportation of illegal mining material. The seizure is made under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi Neeraj Padyar-JKPS. After Seizure of this Vehicle, Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action. While giving the details SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma-IPS conveyed that Reasi Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area. |
