Jammu, Apr 23: GDC Kunjwani organised a pledge taking ceremony on the importance of voting in democracy on 23-04-2024. The whole event was organised under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Manisha Sarup Kohli, Principal of the College. The purpose for organizing this event is to educate the students about the electoral process, importance of voting and to enhance their participation in democratic process. The students as well as faculty members took the pledge and showed their commitment towards voting and in choosing their representatives. The students were encouraged to take part in electoral process and to cast their votes in the upcoming elections. The event was coordinated by Prof. Bushra Nizami, Dr. Deepika Sharma and Prof. Risha Kumari. |
