Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 25: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology organized a talk show by RJ Juhie 92.7 Big FM. She delivered the lecture on "Media-A vibrant Tool in 21st century" in which she shared the fascinating insights in the world of radio broadcasting, storytelling, and how she connects with the audiences through the airwaves. The event was started with the bouquet presentation to the guest. Er. Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics, Er. B.R Verma, Chief Coordinator and Er. K.R Shrama, Senior Professor welcomed the esteemed guest by presenting the bouquet . During the session she talked about the history of J&K and discussed about the pros and cons of using social media. Further she also said that she runs a show on radio on which she promote the Dogri language and encourages her listeners to promote their native language as well. She also shared her journey of being a News Anchor in Doordarshan to be the famous Radio jockey of the town. She highlighted her accomplishments in field of research, and contributions in the field of broadcasting. She delves into the art of radio broadcasting, discussing the unique aspects of the medium and how it differs from other forms of media. She talked about the importance of voice modulation, storytelling techniques, and creating a connection with listeners through the power of sound. She runs her show on Big 92.7 FM from 7AM-11aAM. Further she told about the challenges they face in their line of work, such as staying relevant in a rapidly changing media landscape, handling criticism, and balancing personal and professional life and also discussed about the rewards of being a radio jockey which includes the joy of entertainment, inspiring listeners and the fulfillment of pursuing their passion. Overall the talk show was proven to be very inspiring and entertaining for the students. The session ended with presenting the memento to the speaker by the Dean Academics, Er.Dinesh Gupta, Er.
