SAMBA, Apr 25: Pravaad Electoral Literacy Club of SPPND Govt. Degree College, Samba in collaboration with NSS Unit Maitri and District Election Office, Samba organised series of activities to enhance Voter Engagement. The event was organised under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, Principal of the college. The activities began at Chichi Mata Temple where students interacted with locals and made them aware about the importance of voting. In the parking area of the temple premises, students performed Nukkad Natak on the theme Aao Matdaan Kare which was well received by the visitors at the temple. Later, the students started the awareness rally from the temple back to college via Mansar Morh. Furthermore, awareness campaign for shops, vendors and passing vehicles was also conducted. At the end, wall paintings were made near the front gate to increase voter turnout in district Samba this upcoming election. |
