Government Polytechnic Jammu honors workers on International Labour Day

JAMMU, May 1: Government Polytechnic Jammu commemorated International Labour Day with a heartfelt celebration, extending gratitude to all workers for their dedicated contributions. The event, graced by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college, emphasized the pivotal role of laborers and Class IV employees in the institution's success.
In his address, Er. Arun Bangotra lauded the relentless efforts of the workers, acknowledging their unwavering commitment and significant societal contributions. He reaffirmed the college's commitment to supporting its employees while urging them to continue their endeavors with even greater dedication.
The ceremony witnessed the felicitation of all workers as a token of appreciation for their invaluable services to the institution. Amit Sharma, I/C HoD of Travel and Tourism and Sports Secretary, highlighted the pivotal roles played by the workers, expressing gratitude on behalf of the college community.
The event was also graced by esteemed heads of departments, including Raj Kumar (Mechanical Engineering), Raj Shekhar (Automobile Engineering), Manjeet Singh (Electrical Engineering), Sanjay Koul (Computer Science), and Sukhdeep Singh (Civil Engineering). Their presence underscored the significance of the workers' contributions to the college's multifaceted operations.
Mannu Rajput, Chamel Singh, and Shaila Iram orchestrated the proceedings of the program with finesse, ensuring a seamless flow of events. Among the attendees were Akhil Kumar, Himanshu Bakshi, Gagan Partap Singh, Toshi Devi, and Rakesh Kumar, whose presence added to the event's warmth and camaraderie.
