On the 26th of April, 2024, when the land sinking ravaged homes and disrupted lives, leaving many without shelter or basic necessities, the Indian Red Cross Society swiftly mobilized its resources to aid the distressed community. Tents, tarpaulins, kitchen sets, darees, buckets, towels, and cotton khes were among the critical supplies distributed to ensure the immediate needs of affected families were addressed. Expressing the society's unwavering commitment, Rohit Khajuria affirmed, "In times of disaster, our foremost duty is to stand by our fellow citizens. Our team's relentless efforts have been directed towards ensuring timely assistance reaches those most in need. We remain steadfast in our support for the rehabilitation of the affected families and are collaborating closely with local authorities to bolster our disaster preparedness endeavors."
