JAMMU, May 3: Cyber Cell of Jammu & Kashmir Police in District Police Jammu solved online cyber crime.
Brief facts of the case are that a complaint was received at cyber cell DPO Jammu regarding financial fraud of Rs.1,78,200.The complainant received a message from telegram to give review and earn money and when the victim gave review he firstly got the amount, after that fraudster asked him to join one link and when the victim joined the link fraudster further asked him to invest more to earn more money . The victim invested Rs 1,78,200 and then fraudster blocked his number.
During the investigation, the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu, acted swiftly and exhibited hectic efforts which ultimately led to put on hold an amount of Rs 1,78,200/- out of 1,78,200/ in online cyber crime complaint. Further investigation is underway.
