LAKHANPUR, May 3: The vibrant spirit of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhanpur resonated through the air as students and staff gathered to celebrate the Vidyalaya's Annual Day for the session 2023-24 under the esteemed guidance of Principal, Sh. Rajesh Dwivedi. The event received the honor of presence from the Honourable Chairman of VMC, Brig. Tejender Choudhary from 401 Arty Brigade, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The meticulously planned programme unfolded with a showcase of the year's activities to parents and guests, followed by a ceremonial function. The auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Honourable Chief Guest, the Principal, and other dignitaries marked the commencement, followed by a soul-stirring performance of 'Saraswati Vandna' by the students.
Principal Sh. Rajesh Dwivedi extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, VMC members, parents, and students, presenting the Vidyalaya's Annual Report highlighting the progress and achievements of the academic session 2023-24.
The cultural extravaganza that followed was a testament to the students' talent and dedication, featuring captivating music, vibrant costumes, graceful dances, and enchanting qawwali performances, leaving all guests spellbound. The chief guest honored student and teacher achievers of the session 2023-24 with prizes and certificates of appreciation.
In his address, Brig. Tejender Choudhary praised the exceptional performances of the students and congratulated the Principal, staff, and students for organizing a memorable Annual Day. He extended his heartfelt blessings and best wishes to the students and staff for the upcoming session, declaring a one-day holiday on Saturday, May 4, 2024, as a token of appreciation for the outstanding programme presented by them.
The seamless coordination of the programme was led by Mrs. Nisha Khan R, PGT-English, I/C Co-Curricular Activities, and concluded with a vote of thanks by the senior-most teacher, Mr. Harpreet Singh, PGT-Computer Science, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, VMC Members, Principal, parents, staff, and students. The patriotic fervor reached its zenith with the rendition of the National Anthem, marking the conclusion of the event.
