India bloc all set to ‘duck out’, Omar’s claim of clean sweep unrealistic dream: Kavinder | | | Early times Report
JAMMU, May 3: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Friday said that India bloc is all set to duck out in J&K as the parties in the amalgam have no takers in the Union Territory while the statement by NC Vice President Omar Abdullah over winning all seats shows how naïve he is in understanding politics. In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader said that Omar Abdullah is living in a fool’s paradise and believing in unrealistic dreams because the rivalry among the different constituents of India bloc in J&K and Ladakh UTs is not a secret now and people are closely watching the mudslinging between the leaderships of these parties exposing things which these leaders never wanted to make public. He said that whether it was NC, PDP or Congress, all had hoodwinked people for so long and therefore expecting people’s support is nothing but day dreaming. He said that novice Omar is expecting clean sweep in J&K at the time when he should have prayed for saving the India bloc leaders from forfeiting their security bonds. Kavinder asserted that the National Conference and Congress had exploited every section of Jammu & Kashmir for nearly seven decades. He emphasized that the time has come for a significant shift, with the ball now firmly in the court of general public. He stated that the people are the better judges and will give a befitting reply to such opportunist political parties who exploited them for their political gains in the Lok Sabha polls. |
