Ashok Sharma, the esteemed Director of School Education Jammu, Ganesh Khajuria, Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, along with Subah Mehta, Joint Director JSK, convened to address pressing issues confronting the teaching fraternity. During the discussion, Khajuria reiterated the challenges faced by employees in completing the paperwork for the One Time Exemption, particularly those who have attained higher qualifications during their tenure. He emphasized the urgency of streamlining the process to alleviate chaos among educators and mitigate disruptions to classwork. Khajuria proposed that the documentation requirements should only apply to individuals with postgraduate or equivalent qualifications, sparing those with undergraduate or B.Ed. degrees. Additionally, Khajuria raised concerns regarding the delayed in-situ promotion of Masters promoted in 2014, urging for expeditious resolution of pending cases. Recognizing the prolonged delays, he called for swift action to address this issue. Responding to Khajuria's concerns, Director Ashok Sharma assured a prompt resolution, promising to expedite the processing of both the One Time Exemption files and the pending in-situ promotion cases. He pledged to issue necessary directives to subordinate offices to streamline documentation procedures and minimize unnecessary burdens on the teaching community. Accompanied by Darshan Sharma, S. Ravinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, P.D. Singh, Gautam Singh, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, and Pawan Sharma, Ganesh Khajuria extended heartfelt gratitude for the Director's attentive consideration of their grievances and his commitment to resolving the issues promptly.
