Early Times Report JAMMU, May 7: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, embarked on an official tour to Naushera and Rajouri, where she assessed the progress of developmental projects and discussed future initiatives. Accompanied by senior Waqf officers and Administrator Abdul Qayoom Mir, Dr. Andrabi engaged with local communities and stakeholders to understand their needs and aspirations. During her visit, Dr. Andrabi emphasized the transformation witnessed in J&K, attributing it to improved law and order since 2019. She underscored the shift from unrest to development, noting the cessation of frequent shutdowns, violence, and fear, with a focus now on progress and prosperity. Expressing disdain for political figures advocating separatism, Dr. Andrabi condemned their agenda to revert J&K to a state of turmoil. She highlighted the pivotal role of the Waqf Board in fostering transparency and vibrancy in managing Sufi spiritual centers across the UT. Dr. Andrabi lauded the Board's efforts in reviving these centers, which are integral to J&K's rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
