Kavinder accused Congress leadership | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 9: Making a scathing attack on Congress leadership which ruled the country for decades together, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that findings of Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) report have exposed the bigotry of old grand party towards the majority community in the country. It is pertinent to mention that as per the EAC-PM report, the share of the Hindu population had decreased by 7.82 per cent between 1950 and 2015 in India, while that of Muslims increased by 43.15 per cent. In a statement issued here today, the BJP stalwart also cited that as per the report, the share of the majority religious denomination has increased and minority populations have shrunk alarmingly across countries in India’s neighbourhood like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Afghanistan hinting at Congress’ ploy against the people of the majority community in this part of the world as between 1950 and 2015, this party ruled for the significant time. Kavinder said that it was the result of wrong, weak and appeasement policies of successive regimes headed by the Congress that the majority community suffered in this manner which has come to fore in the fact sheet of the aforesaid report also. He said that time is rife for the people to understand the damage which Congress has incurred to the country and also to decide how this anti-Hindu party should be kept away from the power corridors to save India and restore its pristine glory. Kavinder accused Congress leadership of deliberately providing a conducive environment to Bangladeshis and Rohingyas from Myanmar to thrive in different parts of the country for meager political gains, which has also led to significant increase in the population of Muslims in the country. |
