REASI, May 12: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, chaired a meeting to review the functioning of the Revenue Department in the Conference Hall of the administrative Complex. Assistant Commissioner Revenue Anshumali Sharma presented a comprehensive overview on revenue matters, including land records, demarcation of land, retrieval status of Massavi, status of digitisation of Jamabandis, implementation of SVAMITVA, e-offices, land acquisition cases, eviction status, writing of Gridwari registers and Status of PSGA services. DC Mahajan instructed for constituting a Committee of Naib Tehsildars to recreate the pending 31 Masavis, with the help of Girdawars, Patwaris and submit the same within one month. He further directed Tehsildars to check and ensure correctness of all digitised Jamabandis before May 19, 2024. He directed senior officers to counter check the status of Jamabandis. Giving a string of instructions, he directed for immediate physical retrieval of any encroached land, maintaining strict vigil on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agriculture and commercial purposes and disposal of all pending court cases on the RCCMS portal. The meeting also reviewed the status of the jan sugam portal and online services for the public. Mahajan reviewed grievances on the JKIGRAMS Portal, Satarak Nagrik and Grievances Redressal portal and emphasized that no grievance should be pending beyond 21 days. The introduction of the e-office system right from patwari to highest level within a stipulated time frame was also emphasized. He also discussed relief cases under the SDRF and examined the record of Kacharai /Shamlat lands emphasizing that any registration of documents should not be delayed unreasonably and timely disposal of all auto-appeal cases should be ensured. Anwar Bandey, all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Patwaris and Officials were present in the meeting. |
