Karate Championship Success: DPSU students shine with 14 gold medals

JAMMU, May 16: The recent Karate Championship Divisional level held in Jammu Bhagwati Nagar, Sports Complex witnessed an outstanding display of skill and determination from students of Delhi Public School, Jammu. DPSU participants excelled, securing an impressive haul of medals, reaffirming their dominance in martial arts. In a remarkable feat, DPSU students clinched a total of 23 medals, including 14 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze medals. Their exemplary performance not only reflects their individual prowess but also underscores the school's commitment to holistic development and excellence in sports.
The championship served as a platform for young karatekas to showcase their talent and compete at a regional level. DPSU's success highlights the dedication of both the students and their mentors, who have tirelessly worked to hone their skills and foster a culture of sportsmanship. Pro Vice Chairman of the School, Dr. J.C. Gupta Sir congratulated the team and the coach for such a remarkable performance. Worthy MD of the School, Vivek Gupta, Dynamic Director Academics of the School, Extended their contentment on the victory of DIPSITES.
Dr. Kunal Anand, Principal of Delhi Public School, Udhampur expressed his pride and congratulated the medal winners for their outstanding achievements. He emphasized the importance of sports in nurturing not only physical fitness but also discipline, focus, and resilience among students. The team was led by Coach & HOD Sports Mr. Uday Singh & Coach Anirudh Tripathi.
