Early Times Report JAMMU, May 18: Directorate of Ayush J&K organizes 7 days Training Program for Ayush Pharmacists and supports staff at Govt Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu. Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain State yoga Commissioner, State Chairman Indian Yoga Association and President Vichar Kranti Manch International, was invited to deliver a lecture on "Lifestyle and Art of Mindfull living". He explained different aspects of yoga in day to day life. Yoga Enhances physical health & Fitness by improving flexibility, increases muscle strength, Boosting endurance and holistic discipline, involves physical, mental, and spiritual health. Yoga combines physical poses, controlled breathing, and meditation, which helps in creating balance between body and mind. Regular practice can offer many health and wellness benefits, including better stress management and improved mental clarity. Yoga is a series of movements and breathing exercises designed to strengthen body & calm the mind. As per Patanjli, yoga is to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness. Yoga is recognized not just as a form of exercise but also as a lifestyle that encompasses a philosophy of prioritizing balance. Demonstrations of some yogasans and pranayamas were also done by Dr. Jain. Questions were asked by Pharmacists : S/Sh Ravinder koul, Raman Kumar, Balwan Singh, Romesh Raina, Tariq Ahmad & Mrs Paramjit kour in Question Answer Session. Dr Manjit Singh & Dr Neha Jolly Medical Officers conducted the proceedings of the program, under the able guidance of Dr Arun Gupta Medical officer & Dr Vandna Dogra Medical Superintendent, Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu. Anju Bansal, Punjab Coordinator VKMI, gave some health tips, she being awarded the "Swar Kokila" award and presented a song on the promotion of yoga. Dr Neha Jolly presented a vote of thanks.
