SHOPIAN, May 18: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, recently undertook a series of impactful initiatives aimed at community welfare and spiritual upliftment in Shopian and Poonch regions of Jammu & Kashmir.
Dr. Andrabi convened a significant meeting with local religious preachers and youth at Hirpora, Shopian, organized by Javed Ahmad Qadiri, Executive Officer of J&K Waqf Board for Shopian. During the meeting, she emphasized the critical role of religious leaders in educating youth about the perils of drug abuse, advocating instead for the teachings of Sufis and spiritual saints.
