Early Times Report REASI, May 20: District Development Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan today inspected the pace of work being executed on the Domail-Katra section of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra (DAK) Expressway. The Project Director, NHAI Udhampur, Anuj Kumar Singh, gave a detailed overview of the works in execution in all the chainages of the project failing in the jurisdiction of District Reasi. The DDC Reasi was informed that the project is being executed strictly in accordance with the Code of the specifications and standards of Expressway. The DDC Mahajan also reviewed land acquisition and disbursement of compensation. He instructed the concerned officers to resolve pending land issues, bottlenecks, if any, on priority for smooth execution of work on prestigious road projects. It was also informed that most of the land issues have been resolved, while the DDC instructed NHAI officers to stay in regular touch with concerned officers for resolving minor pending issues. The NHAI Officers were asked to expedite the pace of work on Delhi-Katra expressway for its time bound completion. During the inspection, DDC Mahajan laid emphasis on the use of quality material in infrastructure projects of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). ACR Anshumali Sharma, SDM Katra Piyush Dhotra, Dy. Manager NHAI Udhampur Nitish Dhanraj, Tehsildar Katra Jatinder Singh and other officers were present. |
