GURDASPUR, May 23: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Thursday said that womenfolk are the largest takers of PM Narendra Modi's vision for Viksit Bharat (Developed India), and this the reason behind this section supporting BJP wholeheartedly.
The BJP stalwart leader was speaking during a meeting with prominent citizens of Gurdaspur Parliamentary seat. He said that the work done by the Modi Government in the last ten years to empower the women in the country has convinced this section of society that there is no other party which can accomplish things which the Modi Government has accomplished.
Kavinder said that womenfolk in the region have shown undaunted faith in the BJP Government and are united in supporting BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls giving another opportunity to the Saffron party to fulfill the unaccomplished tasks in the constituency besides steering the country to new heights of progress. He said that Viksit Bharat, or Developed India, is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and represents a complete blueprint for the country's prosperity.
"This vision having the support of all Indians especially the women will be a guiding principle for India during its Amrit Kaal. With a combination of social changes, technical innovations, and economic reforms, Prime Minister Modi hopes to raise India's position at the global level. This vision has many components, from economic growth to all-inclusive development and imbibing technological innovation", he said, adding that people should help BJP to get maximum seats to realize this dream envisaged by none other than PM Modi to make the country part of the elite group of developed nations all across the globe.
The prominent citizens present in the meeting include Mohit Mahajan, Raghav Mahajan, Neelam Mahant, Rakesh Pant, Gurmeet Kour, Bindiya and Sujata Gupta.
