| Police rescues 16 bovines, 3 accused arrested | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, May 23: Udhampur Police rescued 16 cattles from the clutches of 03 bovine smugglers at Tikri.
Team of Police Post Tikri led by Incharge Police Post Tikri foiled 02 bovine smuggling bids (one in vehicle and other is by foot) in which total 16 bovines were rescued from 03 bovine smugglers namely:-
1) Farman Ali S/o Hazi noora R/o Ganda, Teh/ distt jammu (transporting 14 bovines by foot)
2) Ayoub Khan S/O Qazi Mohd R/O Kambal Danga
3) Aslam Mohd. S/O Bhag Hussain R/O Hartaryan who were taking these bovines by foot towards Kashmir valley. (2nd and 3rd accused persons transpoting 02 bovines in a vehicle bearing regd. No. JK14J 4330)
All the bovines were rescued and bovine smugglers got arrested, vehicle also seized.
In this regard 02 different FIR cases under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rehambal.
Further investigation of both the cases are underway. |
