Early Times Report JAMMU, May 30: Humanity public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, celebrated a remarkable victory as their girls team won in the Under-17 category at the Inter-Zonal District level kho-kho competition under Purmandal zone held at Samba stadium. Winning Team from HPS, Bassi Kalan girls under-17 showcased their exceptional strength and teamwork in defeating Vijaypur zone by 2-5 score in the thrilling final match. The team including Sofia Malik, Rohini and Diya Manhas from class 9th and Sonia Rajput, Dipti Katal of class 8th. They all were trained under the guidance of Ajay Sharma and Surjeet Kumar (School coach). Their collective efforts and determination were instrumental in securing the wins and bringing glory to their school. In Under-17 five girls are selected for Inter-District Division level kho-kho competition. A special assembly was held to honour the winners, Principal, Gaurav Charak and Vice-Principal, Anku Charak felicilated the team in the presence of the entire school fraternity. The Principal congratulated the students and praised their gaming skills. He also praised the coaches for their hardwork. He emphasized the school commitment to promoting physical education and the importance of indigenous sports like kho-kho. |
