JAMMU, May 30: The Environmental Club & NSS unit of K.C. College of Education observed 'World No Tobacco Day' by organising door - to - door campaign in the nearby area. A good chunk of students of Semester - II participated in the activity wherein they went from doorstep - to - doorstep making the locals aware especially the adolescents about the hazardous health implications caused due to the use of nicotine and its products. Principal of the college, Dr. Sanjay Tickoo highlighted the importance of such activities. The whole programme was convened by Puja Sharma & Priya Gupta, Convenor of Environment club & Programme officer, NSS. |
