BANI, June 1: The High Altitude Cricket Tournament, held in the scenic village of Dhaggar, concluded with the Dhuggan Cricket Club winning the final match. The tournament featured 45 teams from Jammu and Punjab, competing over the course of a week. In the exciting final match, the Dhuggan Cricket Club defeated Barmota by 35 runs. The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a beautiful trophy. Special Guests at the event included Miss Kajol Rajput, Sh. Pawan Devji, Sri Gori Shankar ji and Dr. Rameshwar Singh. They praised the organizing committee for their excellent work and commended the players for their skills. The cool and pleasant weather of Dhaggar provided a refreshing change for participants from Jammu, Kathua, and Punjab, who enjoyed both the climate and the well-organized tournament. Many expressed a desire to stay longer. Ankit Thakur, President of the High Altitude Cricket Club Dhaggar, along with club members Ankush Thakur, Sourav Parihar, Satpaul Thakur, Kuldeep Singh, and Kewal, thanked all the participants and guests for making the tournament a success. |
