| 7th Bn SSB, organizes plantation drvie at new location Sidhra | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 6: On 5th June 2024 and on the occasion of "World Environment Day" under the "Meri LiFE Campaign , one plantation drive was jointly organized by Sector Hqr (Spl-Ops) SSB Jammu and 7th Bn SSB Jammu in association with forest department Jammu. In this drive, the saplings were planted in newly allocated land of 7th Battalion Sidra where a total number of 150 saplings planted under guidance of Sudhir Verma, Deputy Inspector General, SHQ (Spl-Ops) SSB Jammu and in presence of Achyut Singh Commandant 7th Bn SSB . It was a joint venture of SSB & Local in association with forest department.
Under the program, pledge taking ceremony was also jointly organized by SHQ (Spl-Ops) SSB Jammu and 7th Bn SSB, Jammu, which was lead Deputy Inspector General, SHQ (Spl-Ops) SSB Jammu and other officers of 7th Bn SSB, Jammu. In this program, all the force personnel took pledge to make every possible change in their daily life to save the environment and to inspire their family, friends, and others about the importance of environment-friendly habits and behavior. |
