NEW DELHI, June 11: Senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana has said that the government assistance for the construction of three crore houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) which has been approved by the Union Cabinet in its first meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a revolutionary step which will go a long way in addressing the housing needs of homeless population in the country.
In a statement issued by the BJP MP from New Delhi, Khatana said that J&K homeless people will also be benefit from this.
