Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 20: The 6th Chhari Yatra from Jammu to Sudhmahadev is set to take place on June 22nd (Saturday) this year. The Sudhmahadev Chhari Yatra Samiti announced the event during a press conference held today at the ancient Panjbakhtar Temple (Rupaye Wale Mandir) in Jammu.
Prominent members of the Samiti, including Narinder Sharma, Ram Magotra, Rajesh Behal, Ritu Chowdhary, Raj Kumar Sodhi, Radhika Gupta, and Pandit Sahil Sharma, were present at the press conference.

Mantalai, where Lord Shiva married Mata Parvati, is a notable site along the Yatra route. Pilgrims can visit the exact location where the Barat was served by King Himavat, Mata Parvati's father. The Trishul of Lord Shiva, which he used to kill the demon Sudhanshu, remains in the temple.
