JAMMU, June 24: A complaint was received regarding financial fraud of Rs 1,50,000/.The complainant invested money on Telegram and lost an amount of Rs 1,50,000/.
In another complaint of financial fraud of Rs 50,000/ in which victim received a call and asked to join what's up group promising rewards for completing tasks, reviewing places on Google Maps etc. and lost an amount of Rs 50,000/-.
During the investigation, the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu, acted swiftly and exhibited hectic efforts which ultimately led to put on hold an amount of Rs 1,70,000/- out of 2,00,000/. in these two separate online cyber crime complaints . Further investigation is underway.
