BLSKS presents mega musical play ‘Bam Bam Bhole”

JAMMU, July 5: To promote the rich traditional culture of J&K & Sangam Tru art Production of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented Mega Cultural Performances for Amarnath pilgrims at, Durga Bhawan Jammu in it's 440th Friday Series Musical Play "Bam Bam Bhole" in close coordination with Sangamn Tru Art production. The Program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr.Anju Kumari Dogra, Govt. Health Department Jammu. Among the Guest of Honor present were Dr.Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director , Health Department J&K Government. Among the Guest of Honors, V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Romesh Chander, Advisor, Shavshat Art Gallery, & Mr. Mukesh Singh Senior Media Person. The Traditional folk culture of Jammu province and specially awareness items prepared on the theme on "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao"&"Swatch Bharat", "Meri Matti Mera Desh" & "G-20" were presented. The items sung by the artists were " Shiv Satuti", " Shiv Nath Teri Mahima teen log gaye", " Kali Mata Bawe Basdi" "Japu Tero Naam Japu Tero Naam", "Jai Jai Shiv Shanker", "Sukh Mai na koi mere Ram"," Mera Bhola Na Mane" ,"Shaher Shaher aur Gaon-Gaon main sab nain chhapat uthai hai" , "Swachh Bharat Ho Swasth Bharat",etc. More than 2000 pilgrims came from the various parts of the country witnessed the program and highly appreciate. The above mentioned songs written by the Dr. M.L.Dogra Chairman and composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor. The Song & Skits was recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples.
Earlier in his address of Dr.M L Dogra , chairman, BLSKS welcome Amarnath Yatries at Jammu & highlighted the story of Amar Katha , the cave which was chosen by Bhole Shankar for narrating the secrets of immortality and creation of Universe to Maa Parvati ji. The story goes like this century ago Maa Parvati asked Shiv ji to let her know why and when He started wearing the beads of heads (Mund Mala). Bhole Shankar replied whenever you are born I add one more head in my beads . Maa Parvati said," my lord, my body is destroyed every time and I die again and again, but you are Immortal. Please let me know the secret of this ." Bhole Shankar replied that it is due to Amar Katha. Goddess Parvati listening to the story and she fell asleep, whose Shiva did not know. Lord Shiva continued to tell the story of being immortal. At that time, two white pigeons were listening to the story from Shivaji and were shouting groans in between. Shiva felt that Mata Parvati was listening to the story and the hunk was full of between. In this way both pigeons heard the whole story of being immortal. When the story ended, Shiva's attention turned towards Parvati, who was asleep and pigeons were benefitted for Amar Katha.
Welcoming the dignitaries Mahesh Chander Kotwal , Secty BLSKS explained aims & objectives of the programme which have been assigned to the Sansthan for betterment of society in his key note address highlighted the various publicity and entertainment aspects of the song and drama division programs. The singers, musician and actors who performed were K.K.Joshi, Raju Bajgal, Mukesh Singh , Rajni Gupta, Afroz aalam , Kamla Devi, Rajeev Salotra ,Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Kuldeep Raj , Naiya Digra , Renu Bala many others presented the enthrilled performance at last of the programe, Mr.Deepak Kumar Dogra presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the programs
