| GDC Ramnagar organized mega plantation drive | | | Early Times Report
RAMNAGAR, July 6: Government Degree College Ramnagar organized Mega Plantation Drive in collaboration with Forest Department Ramnagar Division under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) Bhavnaish Chand (Principal GDC Ramnagar). Mega Plantation and cleanliness drive were carried out in the college campus which was carried out by Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand, Ashish Thakur (Ranger), Vinod Kumar, Rangeel Singh from Forest Department, teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the college.
In the drive an orientation session was organised where the officials from forest division interacted with students and discussed the issues of land restoration, desertification and drought resilience. About 50 plants were planted in the college premises. In the end, Prof. Bhavnaish Chand shared his views on the relevance of Plantation drive. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sham Singh (Hod Geology). The program was attended by Prof. Parminder Kumar, Prof. Tanmeet Kour Prof. Sunil Kumar and Dr. Puyesh Kant Sharma , Dr. Sham Singh, Prof. Sanjay Malhotra and Prof. Jewan Kumar. |
