Tarun Chugh as J&K Prabhari will strengthen BJP, lead it to new heights: Raman Suri
7/6/2024 10:11:35 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 6: Hailing the reappointment of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary, Tarun Chugh as Prabhari of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh UTs, BJP J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that Sh. Tarun Chugh is well-versed with the politics, geography, and social fabric of the UTs and has been managing party affairs ably. His reappointment will give a fillip and new direction to party activities, especially when J&K is heading towards assembly elections in months to come.
Raman Suri said, the decision to reappoint Tarun Chugh as Prabhari of J&K taken by party leadership is in the larger interest of the party and its functions here. He also hailed the reappointment of Ashish Sood as Seh Prabhari for J&K UT. Committed to national integration, Tarun Chugh, he said had actively been exposing those leaders in J&K who promoted secessionism or favoured a dialogue with hostile neighbouring countries like Pakistan.
Hailing from Amritsar district of Punjab and being a MBA in HR, Tarun Chugh is well-versed with the socio-political affairs of J&K and has been taking the anti-national elements head on. His in-depth knowledge about politics of J&K, BJP's internal affairs, Union Government's programmes and policies viz-a-viz J&K, socio-economic conditions prevailing here, and the role of youth post abrogation of Article 370 has enabled him to work effectively and strengthen the party at all levels.
Tarun Chugh, Raman Suri said, started his political career from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and with immense experience, he now possesses in-depth understanding of the political processes, party ideologies, and guiding principles of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He had also delivered well in J&K, Ladakh as well as in Telangana as party in-charge. His ability to plan campaign strategies, coordination and implementation will be quite handy for the party leadership in J&K in days to come.
Raman Suri said, Tarun Chugh had also handled party affairs well in Andaman, Nicobar and Delhi and mobilized individuals and organizations at all levels. Having able leadership skills, he has also served as President of BJYM, Amritsar in 1993 and displayed his motivational skills. He is remembered for his Yuva Chetna Yatra that he undertook in 1999 and covered a stretch of 2100 kms, touching almost all district headquarters in Punjab.
A strong believer of education for all, he works tirelessly to ensure that the party's programmes and policies reach every nook and corner of the state or UT that he becomes in-charge of. Raman Suri said that with him taking over as in-charge of J&K again, the party will get even more strengthened at all levels and will do well in the upcoming assembly elections. His vision to strengthen the party, especially in Kashmir, has already been bearing fruits and making more and more people join BJP to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
