Early Times Report KISHTWAR, July 13: District Police Kishtwar organized a detailed meeting with the Next of Kin (NOKs) of martyrs under the banner of the "Civic Action Programme (CAP)" of J&K Police, paying tribute to police martyrs and addressing the concerns of their NOKs. The event, held at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Kishtwar, fostered an atmosphere of respect, empathy, unity, and camaraderie. SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, presided over the event, recognizing the martyrs' sacrifices and expressing gratitude for their service. Approximately 44 NOKs of police martyrs were welcomed by SSP Kishtwar, Addl SP Kishtwar, and Dy. SP DAR DPL Kishtwar. Listening attentively, they assured NOKs that they remain an integral part of the extended police family, emphasizing the organization's commitment to their well-being. The event also included a shared lunch, providing an opportunity for the NOKs to connect, share stories, and bond in an informal setting. Sewing machines were distributed as a gesture of appreciation, underscoring the police's deep respect for the sacrifices made by the NOKs.
