| Narco Smuggler Arrested in Udhampur; 60 kg Poppy straw Recovered | | |

Udhampur, July 14: Police team from Police Post Roundomail led by SHO PS Udhampur Insp. Raghubir Singh and assisted by IC PP Roundomail PSI Mohd. Shafique while performing vehicle checking at naka point Roundomail, stopped one vehicle (tata mobile) bearing registration number PB08FD 4276 for checking purpose. During checking of said vehicle, 04 gunny bags having approx 60 kg of poppy straw like substance was recovered from the possession of the driver of the vehicle namely Rakesh Kumar S/O Kimti Lal R/O Greater Kailash, Maqsudan Jaladhar who got arrested on spot. On this, a case vide FIR No. 324/2024 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe. |
