7/14/2024 11:10:39 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 14: In a continued effort to push for the establishment of a Satellite Duggar Channel, a team from the Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) set up a signature campaign at Chenani near the bus stand. The team, comprised of Sh. Janak Khajuria, J.S. Babli, Madan Rangila, and Rajinder Narang, aimed to garner widespread public support at both the Tehsil and District levels.
A significant number of residents from various walks of life and remote areas of Tehsil Chaneni signed in support of the Satellite Duggar Channel. The public appreciated DADAA’s efforts to protect the cultural heritage, art, and languages of Duggar Pradesh and emphasized the welfare of the artist fraternity. They assured their continued support for this cause.
Prominent Chenani citizen Abhishek Jamwal highlighted the importance of the Satellite Duggar Channel, stating, “This channel is essential to promote the Dogri language and culture worldwide through electronic media, allowing the world to learn about the Dogras and their rich heritage.” He also mentioned that the channel would help explore and promote tourist spots in the Jammu region.
J.S. Babli, President of DADAA, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to achieving this goal. He appealed to all residents of Duggar land to unite in support of the Satellite Duggar Channel. “We will continue our struggle until we achieve our target,” Babli said.
Vice President of DADAA, Sh. Madan Rangila, announced that the next signature campaign would be held at Kud, and urged all Dogras to raise their voices in support of the Satellite Duggar Channel from every corner.
For more information or to join the campaign, residents can contact the association’s representatives.
