HC regularized four Adhoc District Judge and promotes 22 Munsiff as Sub-Judges

JAMMU, July 20: The J&K High Court today order regularization for Four Adhoc District & Sessions Judges and also promotes 22 Munsiffs as Sub-Judges.
According to the order issued by Registrar General that pursuant to the resolution adopted by the Full Court in its meeting held on 16.07.2024, the adhoc appointment on promotion basis as District Judges (Entry Level) of the following Judicial Officers, made vide Government Order No. 8630-JK (LD) of 2022 dated 13.10.2022, is hereby confirmed / regularized against the available posts, w.e.f. the dates as stated against each Adnan Sayeed from January 30, 2024, Khem Raj from 1st of February, Dinesh Gupta from March 1, 2024 and Parvaiz Iqbal March 26, 2024.
According the another order issued by the High Court that after considering comparative seniority, vigilance report and performance of judicial officers falling in the consideration zone, evaluated in terms of criteria laid down vide High Court order No. 648 dated 07.09.2019, the following Civil Judges (Junior Division), are temporarily promoted as Civil Judges (Senior Division). They shall however, continue to work at their respective place of postings till their formal adjustment against the posts of Civil Judge (Senior Division) is made by the High Court are Iqbal Rafiq Vakil, Touseef Ahmad Magray, Madhu, Zahoor Ahmad Ganaie, Lubna Sultan, Jeewan Kumar, Arti Devi, Jyoti Bhagat, Fidah Hussain Nayek, Girja Shavan, Tabraiz Ahmed, Junaid Imtiyaz Mir, Shafeeq Ahmad Malik, Rajni Bhagat, Brij Raj Singh, Sandeep Singh Sen, Shabnam Sheikh, Shafeeq Ahmed, Wangial Tsering, Moneer Ahmad, Chemit Yurgyal, Faizan I Nazar.
The order further read that the assessment of Mir Sayeem Qayoom, Civil Judge (Junior Division), who figures at Sr. No. 7 in the consideration zone for promotion to the post of Civil Judge (Sr. Division) is kept in the sealed cover in terms of the Article 110A(2), till the outcome of the regular enquiry initiated against him.
